About the course
The Advanced Trauma Operative Management (ATOM) Course, offered by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), is designed to enhance the surgical skills and confidence of surgeons in managing penetrating injuries to the thoracic and abdominal regions. The course combines didactic lectures with hands-on operative experience, providing a structured approach to trauma surgery in emergency situations. Certification Objectives:
